Experience the Middle Ages up closeA piece of the Middle Ages is being created every day on the “Campus Galli” monastery construction site: craftsmen and volunteers are using 9th century resources to create a monastery based on the St. Gallen monastery plan.
This plan is world-famous; it was drawn not far away, on the island of Reichenau, 1,200 years ago. Here near Meßkirch, a piece of history is now coming to life: without machines, without modern tools
